Libertarian Party Superceding the Democratic Party
This will create two parties that truly represent the majority of American voters since the United States has always had the two party system. By offering political competition the two party system allows for a competition that creates mini revolutions every election cycle. We are currently in one of those revolutions, and looking back through history, it clearly shows that there has always been turmoil and happenings that can be construed as revolutionary at the time. Two party systems creates a check and balance that one party rule can not provide. If one of the parties gets to far from the needs of the electorate, that party is sent a clear message during the election cycle.
It is our two party system that allows for revolutionary change without the need to have the revolution. This revolution can happen every year in local, state, and federal elections. With the importance of the two party system clear, lets talk about why the Democratic party needs to be replaced. And for anyone who thinks we should have a one party system, please look up the countries that currently do. Most of them are socialist dictatorships like China or Cuba. Checks and balances are a good thing, with open communication and conversation.
Why the Democratic party is no longer valid:
Just based on pure semantics, it does not make sense. Democracy in its purest definition, is a form of mob rule. This form of government allows the governed to overrule minority rights in order to get what serves the majority best. If you think that this is fair and just, then maybe you should question if you are in favor of slavery? After all, in the United States before the Civil War all slave owners were Democrats who used their majority control to keep the institution of slavery alive and well in the southern United States. At this same moment in history (1860), there was not a Republican who owned a slave. Please refute this fact if you can… but other than Grant, who owned a slave before becoming a Republican, there are no examples of “Republicans” owning slaves.
Americans realize that regulations on drugs and food are not only complex, but create their own set of problems. Libertarians believe that it is up to the individual to decide what is best for themselves and their children. This eliminates the need to legalize any drugs/foods, since they would all be made legal by the libertarian party taking majority control.
Americans are not socialists. Sorry my Che Guevara sympathizers. By the way, if you like Che, you might also like, Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, or perhaps Adolph Hitler. Hitler and Mussolini are often called fascists, as if being fascist is any different from the socialistic tyranny that existed in the USSR under Stalin. Ok, so maybe you don’t like those extremists. Maybe you really like Hugo Chavez, or Nicolas Maduro? When Democrats come out and admit their socialism in the political theater, this should scare people. Socialism lite or Democratic Socialism is just socialism and tyranny.
Americans are not racist bigots as portrayed by the media. Ok, I take that back, Robert Byrd, former Democratic Senator was actually a KKK member. Woodrow Wilson, Democratic President, was one of the biggest racists to ever lead this country. Perhaps FDR or LBJ would contest that fact? However, most Americans are sick of being called racist bigots by the media, and just want less regulatory burden in this country. It is the relief of this regulatory burden that is creating jobs for minorities today, leading to a better future for every American citizen. Not just the elitist Democrats who constitute the largest group of racists in current world history.
Many people and Americans are waking up to the fact that carbon dioxide is not some evil anti human gas that is destroying the world. The world has a lot of issues, and by putting the blame on something as harmless as CO2 emissions, we are just giving more power and economic control to bureaucrats throughout the world. These people are all anti human, and would love a world where mankind was under their full control. So lets talk about the science really quick. CO2 is a greenhouse gas. It accounts for less than 4 percent of the total efficacy of the greenhouse gases. Did you know that water vapor accounts for 90 percent of the total efficacy of all greenhouse gas constituents? Without water vapor, our earth would not be warm enough to inhabit with life.
Most Americans are environmentalists, including myself. This might come as a huge shock to the reader, especially after the last paragraph, but let me explain. We do have problems in this country. Many of the environmental problems stem from industrial farming practices and poor land usage or management of those lands. As we shrink our federal government we can slowly eliminate subsidies and allow free market capitalism to put better models in place. Many of these models need to come at the local and state level to be managed efficiently and effectively. Anyone who thinks big government does a good job of managing resources should take a closer look at the USSR.
Most Americans want to be independent. In our modern world, the Democrats seek to create more dependencies throughout the country. This is the only way that they can grow their constituency. These constituents have grown to include federal employees and teachers who feel entitled to their job and pension. It will be tough to explain to this group of citizens that their "public service" is actually a public burden on the productive arm of society.
Now the Libertarian party will need to realign itself to make this transition happen. They will need unify and develop foreign policy, ways of dealing with entitlement, social spending, administrative burden, and other government infringements that have grown under the last century. These cannot be drastic measures as proposed by many hard core libertarians, but must be done on a Libertarian lite diet at first.
The Republican party must also continue to work towards being the party of de-regulation and shrinking the government. They do not need to be the party of incessant wars, big corporation welfare, and expansion of federal bureaucracy.
This two party system would create a situation where people would not have to vote for the “lesser” evil, but could vote for things that they actually believe in.

The hypothesis is not that people will move from the Democratic Party, but that the Democratic Party is being exposed as racist elitists that the majority of Americans do not want to be associated with.
