Letter to Kanye West
Kanye,
Apologies for the way that the media, be treating you.
Ok, so please read before studying the image.
The assertion that the KKK is in fact a Democratic Party offspring is a historical fact. Many Democrats have tried to refute this history by saying that the Republican and Democratic Parties switched roles on racism when Lyndon B Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This is a revisionist history, with the same binary as LBJ becoming anti bigoted after 1964. Just not true. The Democratic Party remains the same party that based so much of its gain on the backs of other people in the form of slavery.

The myth is that the real change of the political parties happened on the Nixon campaign. This is just not true, and the facts are that racism was being less accepted in the southern society.
I don't like the implication that he is/was a puppet in the drawing, but it provides an analogy for everyone who has been trapped by the Democratic Party. I originally wanted to draw the cables as shackles, but I think the image is already powerful enough.
I was tempted, and probably should have used prominent news anchors from CNN, ABC, NBC, and other Democratic News outlets, since these are the natural extensions of the Democratic agenda. It might have offered the same perspective, but without the power of pointing out that the Democratic Party is the party of Jim Crow Laws, Dixie Democrats, KKK membership, Woodrow Wilson re-instituting the KKK, and in 1860 they owned all of the slaves. All of the slaves. Not a Republican owned a slave at this moment in history.
So, as a white person, I apologize. I apologize that the Democrats have done such an injustice to so many Black Americans for so many years. Their revisionist history has often put the blame on others, but thanks to Dinesh D'Souza the truth and facts have been liberated, like an emancipation proclamation of truth.
Join me now, in making the Libertarian Party the necessary replacement for the Democratic Party. Social issues can still move forward, but without the government burden that has created so much waste and mistrust in the past century. The Democratic Party can go the way of racism, as a blemish in the unrevised history books.
